"Masterstroke" was interrupted by a satellite

In 2018, former anchor Punya Prasun Bajpai said that each time his television programme Masterstroke was shown, ABP News' satellite broadcasting was interrupted due to his criticism of the effectiveness of one of prime minister Narendra Modi's schemes aimed at helping poor farmers. Former workers said that the owners of the channel had forced the host, Punya Prasun Bajpai, to leave the organisation. These technical problems disappeared the moment he resigned. On the same day, another host, Abhisar Sharma, who criticised Modi's public safety policies on ABP News, was let off. He added that he felt pressured to leave.
