ADM applications and technologies, however, come in a wide variety of forms, from decision-support systems, which offer advice for human decision-makers, to shared decision-making to completely automated decision-making processes, which generate decisions on behalf of people or organisations without human interference.

Both public and commercial sector organisations utilise ADM to substitute or supplement human decision-making for various reasons, including promoting consistency, increasing efficiency, saving costs, and enabling novel solutions to complicated problems.

(ii) ADM: Assistant District Magistrate

The other full form of the ADM is the Assistant District Magistrate. This job was mainly created to assist and support the district magistrate throughout the day. The ADM officers always work under the District Magistrate's control. Their responsibility is to assist the DM with daily activities.

The ADM has equal power to the District Magistrate under the governed rules. The ADM is also in charge of administrative functions, revenue works, law and order, and developmental activities.

ADM is a rank that is beneath DM and beyond SDM. To put it another way, it's a position between DM and SDM.

Role of ADM

When the District Magistrate is not present, all activities are overseen by the Additional District Magistrate Officer. The Additional District Magistrate Officer has full decision-making authority in addition to the DM. The ADM officer is also responsible for supporting the District Magistrate in their tasks.

Duties of ADM

All sorts of certificates, such as marriage, domicile, and other certificates, are issued by the additional district magistrate.
Examining cases of underage labour, taking action if guilty, and punishing the criminal are just a few of the ADM's special responsibilities.
Along with overseeing numerous district offices, sub-divisions, and tehsils, the additional district magistrate is also responsible for upholding the state's legal system.
Any issue that develops as a consequence of a natural disaster, no matter where it occurs, must be resolved by the respective Additional District Magistrate.
All activities pertaining to land, including the land registration and property papers, fall under the purview of the Additional District Magistrate.

iii) ADM: Advanced Download Manager

ADM stands for Advanced Download Manager. ADM is employed to speed up and make downloading files easy from the Internet. ADM is software that downloads things from browsers and speeds up download times by employing multithreading techniques. One can download links that have been saved to the clipboard either from browsers with ADM. Additionally, while doing other activities, one can download things in the background and resume unsuccessful downloads instead of starting them again.

ADM can download a wide variety of data, including video and audio files. One may get useful details about those downloads & related files through the software before starting them to download. One can arrange and sort downloads using ADM's smart and user-friendly menus.
