What is the full form of BHMS

BHMS: Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery

Fullform Bhms

BHMS stands for Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery. It is an undergraduate medical degree in Homeopathy; an alternative approach to medicine. The duration of the course is around 4.5 years with a one-year mandatory Internship. The course is followed by an internship which starts after the students complete the final examination.

Homeopathy emerged in the year 1796 and its founder is Samuel Hahnemann. It is based on the principle that the substances responsible for the symptoms of a disease in healthy people can be used to treat similar symptoms in ailing people.

Homeopathy is a system of treatment based on the belief that the body can heal itself when given greatly diluted medicines. Homeopathy is essentially a supplemental or alternative medicine that differs significantly from procedures that are a part of western conventional medicine.

Why Choose BHMS?

Holistic strategy: Homeopathy is a holistic strategy that includes naturopathic treatment and alternative medicine. Practitioners watch how patients respond to their environment and how their lifestyle and heredity affect their illnesses.

Global Demand: Homeopathic doctors will find demand everywhere they go because this method is used all around the world.

Pay scale: A BHMS graduate often earns more money than an ayurvedic physician. A government hospital offers plenty of options for students as well.

The level of difficulty: Since students must acquire knowledge-related studies as well as modern science, the curriculum's level of difficulty is often lower than that of Ayurvedic studies; in contrast, students in BHMS are only required to learn a small fraction of modern science.
