Inauguration

On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, dedicated Adiyogi to the people of India on February 24, 2017. He also announced the publication of Vasudev's Adiyogi: The Source of Yoga, which serves as a companion book. To commemorate the presentation of the monument, the Isha Foundation published the song "Adiyogi - The Source of Yoga," which was performed by Kailash Kher and had lyrics written by Prasoon Joshi.

Adiyogi

The Saptarishi, the seven students of Adiyogi, the first Yogi, received the knowledge of yoga from Adiyogi. One hundred twelve methods were outlined for overcoming one's limits and realizing one's full potential. Shiva is revered as the first teacher in Vedic knowledge because his teachings have stood the test of time and continue to motivate people to reach for the stars. Estimated millions of people watched as the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the iconic face of Shiva as Adiyogi at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore on the eve of Maha Shivratri in front of a large crowd. The 112-foot-high statue's visage depicts Adiyogi's 112 methods for achieving enlightenment.

It is near the Yogeshwar Linga, which was dedicated by the Sadhguru as a physical representation of the five primary chakras of the human system that the Adiyogi Shiva Statue may be found. Both the linga and the statue have taken on a life of their own, inspiring individuals to practice yoga and cultivate a peaceful mind. Adiyogi Shiva, India's and the world's tallest and largest Lord Shiva statue, promotes a meditative and yoga-centered lifestyle. Anyone and everyone are welcome to join in the practice of yoga, which aims to improve one's health and well-being. Adiyogi's distinctive visage serves as a compass for the world's development. Changing the way you think and feel isn't enough. In addition, it's a critical tool for everyone working for personal liberation.

It's hard to beat Coimbatore's Adiyogi Shiva and Yogeshwar linga temples when you're looking for spiritual solace. Devotees of Shiva may also bathe the linga and the statue with water and neem leaves. This is said to be a way of allowing oneself to be receptive to the Lord's energy.

Divya Darshanam

Divya Darshanam is a 3D laser performance in which the tale of Adiyogi and how human beings were taught to the knowledge of yoga is told in the voice of Sadhguru, the founder of the yoga movement. The amazing spectacle is further enhanced by the music written by Sounds of Isha, who also performs. It's a 14-minute light and dance show called Adiyogi Divya Darshanam. It fought against numerous other outstanding submissions from Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific Region and was ultimately crowned the winner.
