Insert your current Airtel SIM card into a device that can read the SIM card chip and has cellular technology. Make sure the SIM is not inserted upside down or forced. When inserting the SIM card according to the manual that came with your particular cellular device, check which side of the SIM card will be up, and do not force your way into the SIM card slot.

Once inside, dial the USSD Code: *282#. Make sure the character has no spaces at the start, end, or between the characters. This USSD code is commonly referenced under the subject "Know Your Own Airtel Number".

If your network services are ongoing, you will receive a message flashing your mobile number after submitting the above code. The number is shown in a pop tab, similar to what you also see on messaging apps.
