Checking Jio Balance by Call/Messages

Method 1

To know the recharge cycle or leftover valid balance of your Jio Account, you can dial 1299 on the dial pad of your phone call app (or dialler app). Keep in mind that as soon as you call this number, the call will be disconnected automatically. However, it is just an indication that they have received a request generation from your mobile number. After that, it will automatically fetch the Jio balance associated with your account number and SMS you in a minute or two.

The text will include a detailed summary of your account such as the data used so far, your call plan, and the expiry date of the plan.

If you want to know your Jio postpaid balance, simply test 'BILL' to the number '199'.

Method 2

Dial the official Reliance Jio customer service care number' 1800 889 9999' or '1991'. Make sure the number you dial is a registered Jio Number only; calling from any other call-receiving service won't work in this scenario.

On the IVR machine, the customer is given the option to talk in their preferred Indian language, such as Hindi, English, Punjabi, Kannada, etc.

Following that, you will hear certain requests associated with a one-digit number. For example, the machine will say, "Dial 1 to talk to a customer service provider". Click on the number associated with telling you your Jio Balance.

On clicking the corresponding key, the user will know about his/ her current Jio balance.

Checking Jio Balance on My Jio App

Simply download the My Jio App from the Google Play Store or App Store for iOS users. Once logged in/registered into the Jio App, one can view his/ her Jio Balance by finding and clicking on the 'View Details' tab. For further information, the user can also navigate to their profile and get more information about any other Jio-related services.
