Java Array getChar() Method

The getChar() method of Array class returns the value of the indexed component in the specified array object, as a char.

Syntax

public static char getChar(Object array,  int index)
                    throws IllegalArgumentException,
                           ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

Parameter

array - the array

index - the index

Returns

The value of the indexed component in the specified array

Throws

NullPointerException

IllegalArgumentException

ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

Example 1

//import statement
  
import java.lang.reflect.Array;

public class ReflectArraygetCharExample1 {
  public static void main (String args[]) {
    char[] arr = new char[]{'J','T','P'};

    char vlu = Array.getChar(arr, 1);

    System.out.println("Value :: " +vlu);
  }
}

}
