2. International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad

In 1998, the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H) was founded as a nonprofit public-private partnership organization. The IIIT-H is situated on 66 acres of land on the Old Bombay Highway in Gachibowli Town, Hyderabad, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is India's first IIIT to be established under this approach. The MHRD, UGC, has accepted the IIIT-H as an autonomous university.

The Pilani-Hyderabad Campus of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) was founded in 2008 as a private, self-financing institution. The BITS Pilani campus is located on the Jawahar Nagar in Shameerpet Mandal in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, and spans 200 acres.

In 11 fields of research, the BITS Pilani campus offers B.Pharm (Hons. ), 8 B.Tech programs, 6 M.Sc programs, 7 M.Tech programs, M.Pharm, M.Phill, and Ph.D. programs. Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) was founded in 1979 by the Chaitanya Bharathi Educational Society as a private, self-supporting institution. The college is associated with Osmania University in Hyderabad and is AICTE-approved and NAAC and NBA-accredited. The CBIT campus is located on the banks of Osman Sagar Lake in Gandipet, Andhra Pradesh's Hyderabad district.

5. Osmania University - College of Engineering, Hyderabad

Osmania University - College of Engineering (OUCE) was founded in 1929 as a private, self-financing institution on the university campus, 11 years after Osmania University was founded. In 1994, the University College of Engineering became an autonomous institution, recognized by the UGC and certified by the NAAC. The University College of Engineering is part of a large campus that spans 1300 acres and includes seven other university colleges.

This university offers full-time engineering and technology programs, including six B. Tech programs, 18 M.Tech programs, and an MCA program. In addition, the college offers part-time M.Tech programs in ten engineering specialties. Every year, the institution offers 895 spots for admission to all programs.

6. VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad

VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET) is a self-supporting private institute. The Vignana Jyothi Society founded the college in the year 1995. The VNRVJIET campus is located in Bachupally Village in the Nizampet area of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

The campus encompasses 33 acres of land. Vastu Nagar is located in Mangalpalli Village, Rangareddy Town, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

In engineering and technology, the CVRCE campus offers B.Tech programs in seven engineering disciplines and M.Tech programs in six specialties. 245 faculty members from various departments make up the college's faculty.

8. Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad

The complex covers a total area of 13.6 acres.

9. Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College, Hyderabad

MVSREC was a Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College founded in 1981. The college is a self-supporting, private institution. The Matrusri Education Society founded the college. The AICTE and the Ministry of HRD have approved the institution associated with Osmania University. The campus is located at Nadergul, Saroornagar Mandal, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, between the Inner Ring Road and the Outer Ring Road.

The B.Tech program in seven engineering disciplines, the M.Tech program in three engineering specialties, the MCA program, and the MBA program are all offered at the MVSREC campus.
