About MBBS Entrance Exam for the Indian Institutions

For taking the admission to MBBS course in India the students have to appear in one important exam i.e. (NEET) National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. This is the only exam or test for the students who want to do the MBBS course from any university or any college. This test is accepted by both the types of institutions or the colleges i.e., Government institutions and Private institutions. There are two other exams by which the students can take the admissions for the MBBS course that is JIPMER MBBS Exam and AIIMS MBBS Exam. However, these exams are not existing as of now for MBBS students because these exams were scrapped in 2019 for increasing the importance of the NEET exam and making it the most important medical entrance test in India.

In 2019, an order was passed by the (MCI) Medical Council of India that NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam is compulsory for all the students who want to do the MBBS course from abroad. If the candidate is going to give this exam, then the students must know about the general guidelines i.e., the candidate's highest limit for appearing in NEET is 25 Years for only the General candidates and 30 years for the SC/ST/OBC candidates. The NEET score is valid only for the 3 years after that you have to appear again in the same entrance exam.
