What is the full form of NASSCOM

NASSCOM: National Association of Software and Services Companies

NASSCOM stands for National Association of Software and Services Companies. It is a trade association of Indian IT & BPO industry. Its member companies mainly deal with software development and services and IT-enabled/BPO services. It had made a huge contribution to India?s GDP, employment, infrastructure, and global visibility.

It is a non-profit organization which is established in 1988 and is headquartered in New Delhi, India. Today, there are around 2200+ members of NASCOMM which account for 90% of the industry's revenue. Around 300 members are from other countries like the European Union, USA, UK, Japan and China. It has the reputation of global powerhouse. In India, it provides the highest employment in the private sector.

Raman Roy (Chairman and MD of Quatrro) is the current (2017-2018) chairman of NASSCOM. And, Rishad Premji (chief strategy officer and member of the Board of Wipro) is the current (2017-2018) Vice Chairman of NASSCOM.
