Difference between PCOS and PCOD

We have heard about various physical conditions wherein the body is affected severely. Some of these conditions include PCOD and PCOS. Both of these conditions affect the body in various ways.   2. Pill-induced PCOS: as the name suggests, pill-induced PCOS is defined as a condition that is caused due to excessive intake of birth control pills. Well, the symptoms and complications caused by this kind of PCOS might not last long. The impact on the body reduces with the reduced effect of the pill.
  3. Inflammatory PCOS: In inflammatory PCOS, androgen hormone is released in the body. This kind of PCOS is caused due to stress, food items including gluten, etc. Symptoms of inflammatory PCOS include skin allergies, infections, headache, vitamin-D deficiency, etc.
  4. Concealed PCOS: As the name suggests, Concealed PCOS is defined as the condition which comes into light after 4-5 months. Symptoms of PCOS include thyroid, iodine deficiency, etc. One must not eat excessive sweet items as well.
