Indian actor and model Pearl V. Puri was born on July 10, 1989. His performance as Abeer in Phir Bhi Na Maane is well renowned. Raghbir in Bepanah Pyaar, Mahir in Naagin 3, and Badtameez Dil. He is born into Khatri family of Punjabi Hindus which includes his father Vipin Puri and mother Pummy Puri. He also has an older sister, Reet Vohra, known as Quety Puri. At Chhindwara's Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School, Puri began his formal education. He enrolled at Raghendra Swarup Public School in Agra, Uttar Pradesh after his family relocated there. In October 2020, his father died due to a heart attack. He was being arrested on 4^th of June is case of molestation of a minor age girl.

Early Life

Vipin and Pummy Puri lived in Madhya Pradesh, India, and welcomed Pearl Puri into the world on July 10, 1989. His has an elder sister Reet Vohra, also known as Quety Puri. At the Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School in Chhindwara, Puri began his formal education. His family later moved to Agra, and he was later enrolled at Raghendra Swarup Public School in Agra, Uttar Pradesh after his family relocated there a few years later. When Puri learned that his ex-girlfriend was a fan of Shah Rukh Khan, he was motivated to pursue acting.

His mother supported his decision to pursue acting despite his father's desire for him to work in the family business. As a model, he started his career by appearing in several advertisements for companies, including Maruti Ritz, Fair One Cream, and Pizza Hut. His father died that following year, 2020, due to a heart attack.

Personal Life

Puri has been dating an Agra-born girl for nine years. However, they broke up once he moved out to focus on his acting career. Pearl V. Puri was detained for about ten days before being granted bail on June 15, 2021, for the alleged molestation of a young girl on the set of his television series on June 4, 2021.

Early Struggle (2013 - 2017)

In the 2013 Sony TV romance comedy Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat, produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions, Puri made his acting debut. He played the supporting role of Ajay Tiwari.

In 2015's musical romance drama Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil on Star Plus, produced by Saurabh Tewari Films, he portrayed the lead role of Abeer Malhotra, a popular and charming rocker, alongside Asmita Sood. He appreciated his depiction of Abeer even though the show only aired for five months and was nominated for Best Fresh New Face (Male) at the Indian Telly Awards. The show aired its last episode on September 19 but continued on Hotstar till November 18.

Pearl V Puri played the role of Satyendra Sharma opposite Hiba Nawab in the Zee TV series Meri Saasu Maa, produced by Swastik Pictures. He joined the cast of Naagarjuna - Ek Yoddha on Life OK in May 2016 and played the sincere and innocent Arjun Shastri, a garage worker opposite Pooja Banerjee. In January 2017, the series' last episode concluded its run.

His Popularity (2018 - Present)

His biggest break came in 2018 with the premiere of the third season of Ekta Kapoor's well-liked spooky serial Naagin. Because of his portrayal of Mahir Sehgal and his friendship with co-star Surbhi Jyoti, he rose to fame. At the Indian Telly Awards, he received nominations for Best Onscreen Jodi (Popular) and Best Male Actor (Popular), while he took home the prize for Best Male Actor (Critics) at the Gold Awards. The series had good TRPs and had 103 episodes when it finished in May 2019, making it the longest season in the franchise.

In 2019 Puri was seen in a music video, Peerh Meri, a song that starred Anita Hassanandani. He took part in the fifth season of Kitchen Champion and Khatra Khatra Khatra, both of which were shown on Colors TV. Additionally, he participated in Box Cricket League's fourth season.

Ekta Kapoor once again cast Puri for the new romantic mystery thriller show Bepanah Pyaar aired on Colors TV in June 2019. Alongside Aparna Dixit and Ishita Dutta, Puri played the depressed and drunken Raghbir Malhotra in the show. The programme ended its episodes in February 2020. He also appeared in the 2020 music videos for Teri Aankhon Mein and Teri Aankhon Mein Dance Cover. He began filming in September 2020 for the second season of the supernatural drama Brahmarakshas on Zee TV. He co-starred with Nikki Sharma in the lead role, Angad Mehra, for this show. This was his third collaboration with Ekta Kapoor. The show premiered in November 2020, but was cancelled five months later, in April 2021, due to low TRPs.
