Surbhi Chandna

She is an Indian actress who is a famous face in Indian television shows. In 2009 she made her acting debut with the role of Sweety in the famous comedy show Sony Sab Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. She got her first major role as Haya in Qubool Hai aired on Zee TV. She is best known for her role as Bani Singhania in Naagin 5, a Colors TV Show and as Annika Oberoi in Ishqbaaz.

Early Life

Surbhi Chandna was born on 11 September 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She was grown in Mumbai and completed her higher education at Atharva Institute of Management Sciences. She is very private about her personal life as there is no major information available about her family. Chandna has been in a long-term relationship with businessman Karan Sharma.

Career

Chandna made her television debut in 2009 with a cameo in Sony SAB's longest-running sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She played the guest role of Suzanne in Star Plus's show Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi Meri Bhabhi after a four-year break.

She portrays the deaf and mute Haya in Zee TV's serial Qubool Hai from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, she played Aamna Khan in her debut Bollywood film, Bobby Jasoos, alongside Vidya Balan. Chandna portrayed Annika Oberoi in Star Plus's Ishqbaaaz from 2016 to 2018. She received multiple prizes for her performance, including the Indian Television Academy Award, Asian Viewers Television Award, Gold Award, and Lions Gold Award. She also appeared in the Ishqbaaaz spin-off Dil Boley Oberoi in 2017.

Chandna played Dr Ishani Arora in Star Plus's Sanjivani from 2019 to 2020. From 2020 to 2021, she played Bani Singhania on Colors TV's Naagin, opposite Sharad Malhotra, as Aadi Naagin. In 2021, she made her debut in a music video for Bepanah Pyaar, opposite Sharad Malhotra. She made her debut as a host on Hunarbaaz in 2022, replacing Bharti Singh. Chandna was named the fourth most desirable woman on television by The Times in 2020.

Surbhi Chandna and Dheeraj Dhoopar will star in Saurabh Tewari's show titled 'Sherdil Shergill'. The programme is about the coming-of-age narrative of Manmeet Shergill, an unconventional yet stubborn teenager who makes some strange decisions that impact her life forever. She is young and ambitious, and she wishes to establish herself in the male-dominated area of architecture. Manmeet had an accidental meeting with a carefree young lad named Rajkumar Yadav, which leads to a wonderful love tale. Surbhi Chandna will portray the strong character of Manmeet, while television star Dheeraj Dhoopar will play Rajkumar. Surbhi Chandna discusses her character in an interview and says, "I have done a variety of parts throughout my career, and I'm delighted to return with a programme that has the perfect type of theme for our audience while still being fun." She further adds that " I am excited to collaborate with Colors TV and Dheeraj again".

Both stars came to Shimla to film the opening scene of their next show, which will have a release date shortly. Throughout everything, Surbhi and Dheeraj have remained in contact with their followers, sharing BTS videos and stunning photos from the scenic area.

Surbhi Chandna rose to prominence in the show Ishqbaaz, in which she co-starred with Nakuul Mehta. Surbhi featured in the iconic TV serial Naagin 5 alongside Sharad Malhotra, who she also performed in a music video with. Surbhi recently partnered with Arjun Bijlani on a new project, the contents of which have been kept under wraps. Dheeraj Dhoopar, on the other hand, was last seen in the famous daily soap Kundali Bhgagya, opposite Shraddha Arya. Speaking of Sherdil Shergill, the episode will be shown on Colors TV shortly.
