TISCO stands for Tata Iron and Steel Company, and it is also known as Tata Steel since 2005. Tata Steel, one of the leading firms in the steel industry, was established in the year 1907 and was Asia's first integrated steel plant. Currently, TISCO is the world's second most geographically diverse steel producing company and one of the world's largest steel producing firms, with an annual crude steel production capacity of around 29 million tonnes per year and years of steelmaking experience.
