There are many renowned automakers from Europe, America, and Asia, who have, over the years, manufactured high-quality cars and served customers positively. Apart from this, many other automakers have entered the market recently and have also gained wide recognition for producing reliable cars in a short span of time. However, the older ones are considered more popular and reliable because of their history in the vehicle manufacturing industry.

Based on our research from multiple sources, these are more than 20 of the top automobile brands available today, regardless of location. However, we have compiled a list of the top 10 car brands, even though they are not categorized in terms of indexing. They are as follows:

Volkswagen

One of the best automotive brands with German roots is Volkswagen (VW). The manufacturer's brand value is estimated at a staggering $27 billion, which is constantly growing. The business announced a redesigned Volkswagen Passat (a successful car model from the brand) for 2015. The design was significantly enhanced and lighter. It came in various variants, providing either a 2.0-liter turbodiesel with 148 or 187 horsepower or a base model with a 1.6-liter diesel engine & with 118 horsepower. Toyota

Toyota Motor Corporation is a Japanese multinational automaker headquartered in Toyota City, Aichi, Japan. Kiichiro Toyoda founded it, and it was incorporated on August 28, 1937. Toyota, one of the world's largest automakers, produces roughly 10 million vehicles annually. The company began as a division of Toyota Industries, a producer of machines founded by Kiichiro Toyoda's dad, Sakichi Toyoda.

Both companies are now part of the Toyota Group, one of the world's largest enterprises. While being a part of Toyota Industries, the company developed its first automobile, the Type A engine, in 1934 and its first civilian auto, the Toyota AA, in 1936.

Honda

Honda is another well-known brand worldwide. Originating from Japan, it was established in the first decade of the twentieth century and has grown over time to become one of the largest automakers in the world. It introduced a luxury brand exclusively named Acura to the market in 1986, which has since won many fans around the world. The corporation headquarter is in Tokyo, and it now makes automobiles in several nations, including Canada, Argentina, England, Belgium, Brazil, the USA, and others.

Since 1959, Honda has been the biggest producer of motorcycles in the world, with 400 million units produced by the end of 2019. Honda is also the biggest producer of combustion engines in terms of volume, with more than 14 million units produced annually. In 2001, Honda overtook Toyota as the second-largest producer of automobiles in Japan. Additionally, Honda was the eighth-largest automotive producer in the world in 2015.

Porsche

In 1931, Ferdinand Porsche (1875-1951) established the "Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche GmbH" with the help of Adolf Rosenberger & Anton Piech. The main headquarters were located at 24 Kronenstra�e in Stuttgart's city center.

At first, the business provided consulting and motor vehicle development work, but it did not produce any vehicles under its brand. Ferrari

Aston Martin

An English company called "Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings PLC" creates high-end sports cars and luxury touring vehicles. Robert Bamford and Lionel Martin founded the company's precursor in 1913. David Brown gave it direction starting in 1947, and in the 1950s and the 1960s, it came to be linked with luxury grand touring vehicles. After James Bond drove a DB5 model, as in the 1964 movie Goldfinger, the model also came to be identified as the great luxury sports motorcar. These sports cars are renowned as a symbol of British culture. Since 1982, Aston Martin has been the Prince of Wales' supplier.

In automobiles under Royal Warrant, the company has over 160 car dealerships spread across 53 countries. Its Formula One team is based in Silverstone, and a new 37,000-square-metre (400,000 sq. ft.) factory is expected to be open soon.
