This beautiful melody is written by none other than living legend Lyricist Gulzar. And the was composed by the renowned music composer Shankar- Ehsaan- Loy. Zee Music Company labeled this song. The original song was sung by renowned singer Sunidhi Chauhan and then later on male version was also released, and the playback singer was one and only Arijit Singh.

Oh, you recall the movie Rang De Basanti, the film which compelled you to shed tears like a newborn in front of your friends. Remember? The title track of this film is the OG ends up making all of us stand up and do the Bhangra, and nothing tops it.
