Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna is a well-known Hindi track from the 1995 Bollywood film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, recorded by Lata Mangeshkar & Udit Narayan.

One of India's most well-known wedding and pre-wedding songs is reported to be the one that Shahrukh Khan sings on-screen when the Indian pre-wedding rites are completed in the movie. This song was so well-liked that it was included in the medley of Mujhse Dosti Karoge.

The song's lyrics were turned into a scene from a movie that featured the characters of the movie enjoying a wedding. The 1990s popular song "Ishq tera tadpave" by pop artist Sukhbir is a staple of most party playlists. The song is also a crowd favourite during weddings. Sukhbir responds, "Absolutely. I don't think the popularity of the song has ever exceeded my personal status as a singer. I guess that my name was forgotten as a result of that one song. Before going into dj vu mode, Badra Bahaar opens with a regal brass section, but because of Amit's amazing arrangements, you'll soon be bopping along to it. The stringed instrument plays out some gorgeous abheri/bhimpalasi raga-flavored sections, and the composer makes some smart use of strings, combining rock guitarists alongside classical-style guitarists (I assume Sanjoy Das is at work here).
