Introduction

1. Sri Parsawanath Tirthankara Jain Temple

This historical Jain temple can be found about 200 meters away from Sharada temple. There are many historic Jain sculptures and inscriptions in this temple. This temple has been around since the year 1150 AD. A couple of these Jain idols are unique and contribute to the rich Jain heritage of the region.

2. Vidyashankar Temple

Vidyashankara temple was built in 1338 AD. It is a unique temple that combines the architectural styles of Hoysala (Chalukya) and Dravidian architectural traditions. It's composed completely of stone. The hills and their slope may be seen beautifully from the temple. The temple is built on a large plinth and looks like a rectangle. The temple's western side is called the Garbhaghriha, with Durga and Vidya Ganapati facing the entry on either side.

The temples of Brahma, Vishnu, and the collaborates of Maheshwara may be found on the other three sides of the temple. The eastern side of the temple houses a mandapa with 12 pillars and huge monoliths with massive figures and strong projecting corbels on top. 4. Sirimane Falls

The picturesque waterfall known as Sirimane Falls is located near Kigga in the Karnataka region. It is also referred to as Kigga Falls, and it is one of the most well-known tourist destinations near Koppa.

This waterfall, which is around 40 feet tall, is in a peaceful location surrounded by thick forest. The falls are accessible by motor vehicle, and Kigga offers car rentals. Jogi Gundi Falls is a waterfall that flows into a sizable pool from around 20 feet. The saint Jogi loved to meditate here, which is how the waterfall received its name. The site of origin of this waterfall is its distinctive characteristic. The Jogi Gundi fall isn't like other waterfalls since it rises from a cave and cuts through a slope. The Malapahaari River, a tributary of the Tungabhadra, is where this stream flows into.

It is a great spot to spend hours because of the beautiful nature surrounding the falls. You can go swimming in the pond. The last kilometer of the 4 km hike must be taken on a steep, narrow path from the main town to reach the waterfall. It is among the most well-liked locations for trekking.

The Annapoorneshwari Temple was built by Agasthya Maharishi around 400 years ago. Although it has undergone several changes since then, the temple's fundamental design and functionality remain.

7. Agumbe Sunset View Point

Agumbe, Karnataka's Sunset Point, is a viewpoint near Koppa. It is among the most well-known views in Agumabe and among the top Agumbe tourist attractions. One of the tallest hills in the Western Ghats, the Sunset Point is perched at 825 meters above sea level and provides a spectacular view of the sunset sun over the Arabian Sea. On a clear day, one may enjoy a magnificent view of the setting sun and expansive vistas of the nearby countryside and even the Arabian Sea.

From Sunset Point, the hue of the sun is breathtaking. The distance between Agumbe's main village and the Sunset Point is about 15 minutes by foot.
