Noodles:

Noodle was the staple food of the people of the Han Dynasty in China. It quickly became popular in other parts of Asia, Europe and the Near East. It is generally made from unleavened dough made of flour, egg and water. The noodles can be produced in different shapes and sizes from the dough. They are generally eaten with chopsticks and are thinner than spaghetti.

Noodles have many varieties such as Lamian (China), Mee pok (Southeast Asia), Nokedli (Hungary) and Somen (Japan). The Shirataki, which is a Japanese noodle, is a thin and translucent noodle made from the roots of Konjac plant. It is rich in fiber and is low in calorie and carbs so good for people who are looking for a low-calorie and low-carb diet.

Noodles can be cooked in different ways, usually cooked in salted, boiling water and then drained. It can be eaten after boiling with sauce but it is usually fried with other ingredients like vegetables, meat, seafood etc, to add more flavour and aroma.

Spaghetti:

Spaghetti is a type of pasta. It is made of milled wheat and water. Italian spaghetti is made from durum wheat semolina. However, in some countries, it may be made from other types of flour like multigrain or whole wheat. Spaghetti has many varieties like Spaghettini and Spaghettoni. The Spaghettini, which is known as angel hair spaghetti, is thin than Spaghettoni so it takes less time to cook. The Spaghettoni is wide in diameter so it takes more time to cook.

Spaghetti is boiled in water with salt or olive oil then it is served with sauce and toppings like oregano, basil leaves, vegetables, cheese, meat etc. It is usually eaten with a fork, chopsticks are rarely used.
