(i) MCC: Mobile Country Code

MCC stands for Mobile Country Code. It is the three-digit code used to identify mobile network carriers utilizing the region's GSM, LTE, and 5G mobile networks. It is used in combination with MNC (Multinational Corporation). Examples of MCC are 289 for Abkhazia, 412 for Afghanistan, 603 for Algeria, 404, 405, and 406; all three for India.

The first digit in MCC indicates the geographic region of the mobile network. Different numbers from 0 to 9 have been assigned to the other areas of the world like:

• 0 - Test network
• 2 - Europe
• 3 - The Caribbean and North America
• 4 - Asia and the Middle East
• 5 - Australia and Oceania
• 6 - Africa
• 7 - South and Central America
• 9 - Satellite, Air and Maritime networks and Antarctica

Therefore, the mobile country code is the number or code used to identify the home country of the mobile network.

(ii) MCC: Motor Control Center

MCC stands for Motor Control Center. These are found in substantial commercial buildings and apartments with many electric motors. It is the central location to control all the electric motors.

It is the control unit where all the electric motors are controlled, with a standard power bus and individual starters for all the different sections. The starter consists of a motor starter, fuses and power disconnect. The control centre also includes meters for numerous readings, programmable logic controllers and indicator lights.

The Motor Control Centers are generally used for low voltage 3 phase AC motors, ranging between 208 V to 2300 V.

(iii) MCC: Meter Configuration Code

MCC stands for Meter Configuration Code. The meter configuration code categorizes the type of meter used on our premises. It is just the code that indicates the registration functionality of the meter, which is installed at the meter point. It does not imply any technical detail of the meter.

Meter configuration code has two categories, one that can be modified at the supplier's request and the other that cannot be changed at the supplier's request.

(iv) MCC: Metropolitan Community Church

MCC stands for Metropolitan Community Church. It is also known as the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches (UFMCC). It is a global LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) mainline Protestant Christian denomination. It has a total of around 222 member parishioners spread in 37 nations.

MCC has been accorded observer status of the World Council of Churches. MCC's mission is to stand socially and spiritually for the rights of minorities, especially the people of the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer people) community.

(v) MCC: Marylebone Cricket Club

MCC stands for Marylebone Cricket Club. Thomas Lord established it in his home in 1787 in London, England. It was founded as a gentlemen's cricket club, which later became the governing body of cricket until the establishment of the ICC (International Cricket Council).

The first cricket played at this club was between Middlesex and Essex. MCC is the centre introduction of various rules continued in modern-day cricket, like the rule of 22 yards pitch, different dismissal rules for the batter, etc.

In 1814, the MCC was shifted to a new ground at St. John's Wood. Initially, MCC was a private club, but later it established a public body to administer the game of cricket, which was named the Test and County Cricket Board (TCCB). In 1990, the structure of the governing body was changed, and England & Wales Cricket Board was established as the official body to administer the game of cricket in England and Wales.

(vi) MCC: Mortgage Credit Certificate

MCC stands for Mortgage Credit Certificate. It is a document issued to the borrower by the original mortgage lender. This certificate directly transforms the mortgage interest paid into a non-refundable tax credit.

It is designed to ease the first-time home purchase through a home loan that helps the buyer to reduce the tax liabilities. The loan broker issues MCC, but it is not a loan product. This enables home buyers with limited income to complete purchases in a more affordable manner.

The mortgage credit rate percentage depends on the mortgage loan amount, and the maximum tax credit allowed to a particular beneficiary is around $2000 per year.
