Realme C25 ReviewSpecifications
IntroductionRealme C25 is one of the most affordable mobile phones that one can get in the low- to mid-range price segment. It consists of some distinct in-software features from the other Realme devices like Realme Narzo 50A, Realme C33, and others. Like other Realme devices, it also has a good design, which attracts users looking for a budget phone with attractive looks. The Realme C25 price starts at Rs. 9999, in which one finds 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The other variant of this mobile is available at Rs. 10999, which provides storage of 128 GB. However, all other features are the same. The phone houses a massive 6000mAh battery which makes the mobile a bit heavy. Unlike the previous phones in the series, this model has been upgraded with the MediaTek Helio G70 processor, which makes the Realme C25 a sought-after device in its price segment. Packaging: Unboxing the Realme C25The packaging of the realme C25 is similar to the packaging of earlier launched Realme mobile phones. The device comes in a yellow box with the readable text of Realme. The box's front cover indicates C25 branding with its detail, IMEI number, model number, and summary of essential features. These essential features include a 13MP AI Triple Camera on the rear side, 6000mAh Mega Battery, 18W Quick Charge, and Helio G70 Gaming Processor. All these details are printed on the box's back portion. The Realme brand is also present on the left and right sides. There is a Realme logo on top of the cover. After unboxing the box, we see that the handset, SIM card ejector tool, quick guide, protective silicone case, and warranty card are inside the box. For protection, the device is wrapped in white matte plastic. There is also an 18W fast charger and a USB cable bundled inside the box. Design and BuildWhen we talk about the design of Realme C25, it's very much fascinating. Realme C25 comes in water grey and water blue color, which consist of geometric design. The back cover of the mobile is processed using the industry-leading German five-axis precise radium that has undergone 30 minutes of polishing. Although a lot of attention has been given to the cover, it could have been more attractive with glass support on the back. Realme C25 is comfortable to hold due to the grip that prevents scratches as well. The only thing that is a need of concern is its weight, which is around 209 grams, making it heavy. However, this is expected due to the large 6000mAh battery. One would find a power button and a volume rocker on the right side around the plastic frame. A SIM tray is placed on the left side of the frame, along with dual Nano SIM slots and memory card support. Due to this, the storage can be increased up to 256GB. The bottom of the phone houses a headphone jack, a single-firing speaker grille, a microphone hole, and a USB Type-C port for charging. DisplayThe front screen of Realme C25 is 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels), which provides satisfactory output. The colors of the display are quite accurate and balanced and the sharpness of the screen is visible from different angles. The text is readable, and the image quality is good. However, it has an outdated dewdrop notch housing an 8MP selfie camera. The device's color temperature is cooler, but one can adjust to warmer by entering the menu setting. Software and PerformanceMediaTek Helio G70 powers the Realme C25. It is a powerful 12nm processor, equipped with integrated Mali-G52 graphics, which is an upgrade to the Helio G35 found in older series phones like the Realme C15. The base variant of C25 has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. However, there is another variant of the Realme C25 that offers 128GB of storage with the same amount of RAM. The 4GB of RAM is quite common in most mobile devices, and the storage of 128 allows multiple apps/games to be installed. Also, it's a gaming chipset, so the gaming capability is good. In terms of software, the phone operates on Real UI 2.0. The Realme UI 2.0 found in the device is based on Android 11. Its Realme UI is smoother and offers more comprehensive options like choosing the dark mode, choosing accent colors, applying themes, etc. It has various customization and theming options. Also, some staples of Android 11 include revamped power button menu and grouped notifications. The bloatware is minimal in the device and comes in the form of Realme apps such as Community (forums), HeyFun, Finshell Pay, and Realme Link. Overall, the Realme C25 is a balanced combination of good hardware and software, which is essential for the smooth performance of the phone. In daily use, there should be no issue, while heavy gaming might struggle a bit, especially at high graphics settings. Camera Support and StabilityThe Realme C25 sports a triple-camera setup, and these are 13MP for the main camera, 2MP portrait, and 2MP macro sensors. It has three cameras, so the entire setup is housed in a square-shaped camera module along with an LED flash. The first camera, a 13MP one, delivers sharp, detailed images with natural colors. While shooting at different times and scenes, due to the HDR support, one would get clear images and see deep blacks. When one keeps HDR on, the phone captures beautiful pictures. When a picture is taken in low light, the pictures look blurry but still the colors are good due to AI support. When Night Mode is on, the image appears more saturated. The images look glossy without any softness but still not as expected. The portrait sensor allows good and accurate background separation. It separates the subject and provides a bokeh effect closer to natural-looking depth. This device also has a macro lens from which a person can get good images with sharp colors. Talking about the popular feature these days, i.e. Selfie camera, Realme C25 sports an 8MP selfie camera that gives detailed pictures and high sharpness. Blacks are deep, and exposure is balanced when HDR is on. Charging and Battery LifeThe Realme C25 has a massive 6000mAh battery which is satisfactory for people. Gaming and browsing can be easily used non-stop. The device uses around 10% battery every hour even in heavy work due to the efficient chip and power saving feature. The 720p screen used in the phone also helps in optimizing the overall backup time. Fortunately, it has 18W fast charge support which takes about two and a half hours to fully charge the battery, which is acceptable considering the battery capacity and the price. VerdictRealme C25 is a good and affordable phone for those who want to invest their money in a quality device without investing too much. It provides them with everything from a good quality camera to a large 6000mAh battery. It also offers dual-band WiFi and better storage capacity. The device also helps with gaming and browsing, making it a gaming-focused budget device. Furthermore, a customized Realme UI 2.0 offers reliable features and great performance.
