How to recover deleted emails from Gmail

We can easily recover deleted emails from our Gmail account from the trash folder. The deleted emails can be recovered from both the computer and mobile device.

Whenever we delete an email, it remains for 30 days in the Trash folder. After 30 days, email gets automatically deleted. The deleted emails are permanently removed after 30 days and cannot be recovered.

  3. Scroll down and click on the More ->Trash option, as shown below:

  4. All the emails deleted within the last 30 days will appear. Go to the email that we want to recover.
  5. Click on the small square box on that email, as shown below:

    To recover multiple emails, we need to select various emails by clicking on their small square box, as shown above.
  6. Click on the Move to icon present on the top, as shown below:

  7. A drop-down list will appear, as shown below:

  8. Select the appropriate folder. The email will go back to the selected folder.
  9. Action is now completed. The selected emails are recovered and safe in your specified folder.

  6. Click on the three dots, which are present on the top-right corner, as shown below:

  9. Select the appropriate folder. The selected email will be moved to the specified folder.
  10. The task to recover the deleted email is now complete. The selected emails are recovered and safe in our specified folder.
