The Little Prince Summary

During his tour, the protagonist tells us that the little princes passed through neighboring asteroids and witnessed strange, narrow-minded people in the grown-up globe. The Little Prince meets a king, a vain man, a drunkard, a businessman, a lamplighter, and a geographer on his first visit to the first six planets. All these six individuals with different occupations spend their time living alone and are mostly devoted to their chosen profession. This scene created amusement and perturbed the Little Prince. He found difficulty in comprehending the requirement to order people to be around to be appreciated and to hold everything. The lamplighter is the exception whose faithfulness he appreciated, and the little one did not think much about the adult he visited. Although, he gained new insight from the geographer that flower does not last forever. Therefore, he began to miss the rose he had left behind.

On Earth, the Prince encounters a snake who tells him he can return to his home and a flower, saying that people are deficient in roots. He goes across the rose garden and feels disappointed that his admirable rose is not unique in the globe as it has been said. A Fox then says that if he tames the fox, i.e., connects ties with the fox -then it will be unique and a source of joy to each other.

The protagonist and little Prince have stayed for 8 days in the desert and run out of water. Then two of them traveled in pursuit of a well; unbelievably, they found one, also. The Little Prince told the narrator that he wished to return that night to his planet. The flowers and stars will be purposeful for the narrator because his acquaintance will stay on one of them. Going back to his planet would necessitate the venomous snake to bite him. The story continues six years later. The narrator claims that the body of the Prince is missing in the morning.
