How to Enable Start Screen

If your PC has Start menu as the default option, follow the steps given below to change it to Start Screen:

• Click on the Start menu and click on the Setting/gear icon option to open the Windows setting. See the below image.

• After clicking on the Setting option, a new window will appear. Click on the "Personalization" option.

• After clicking on the Personalization option, a new window will appear. Click on the "Start" option on the left-hand side of the window. See the below image:

• After clicking on the Start option, see in the right pane of the screen. You see a toggle switch button under the option "Use Start full screen" that is currently turned off.

How to Restore Start Menu form again

Follow the steps given below to change the Start Screen form into Start Menu form again. You have to do it opposite:

• Repeat the above three steps as it is. Click on the Start menu and click on the Setting/gear icon option to open the Windows setting.
• After clicking on the Setting option, a new window will appear. Click on the "Personalization" option.
• After clicking on the Personalization option, a new window will appear. Click on the "Start" option on the left-hand side of the window.
• After clicking on the Start option, see in the right pane of the screen. You see a toggle switch button under the option "Use Start full screen" currently turned on. Now, you have to turn it off.

• After turning off the toggle button, you will see that the window is changed in Start Menu form again.
