For example, in the field of automotive technology, Bosch originally focused on restoring technology to pre-war levels, while engineers worked around the clock to produce new, ground-breaking technologies. In 1951, the mechanical gasoline injection system for passenger automobiles was introduced into mass production for the first time. At Bosch, the era between 1960 and 1989 is characterized by substantial product advancements, notably in the field of automotive technology. These product breakthroughs highlighted Bosch's dedication to low-emission, cost-effective, and safe automobiles at a time when public attention was beginning to turn to road safety and environmental protection.
