The outbreak, as well as the subsequent lockdown, caused supply networks to be interrupted. Bosch Ltd has established a sole proprietorship in India, Robert Bosch India Industrial production and Technology Pvt Ltd. Innovations

While Bosch initially concentrated on automotive technology in the immediate postwar years, the business rapidly diversified its product offerings to include refrigerators, radios, heaters, and power tools, among other products. Blaupunkt was the first Company in Europe to offer a VHF vehicle radio in 1952. The introduction of the "Bosch Combi" power tool in the same year represented a watershed moment in the firm's power tool industry, as it allowed the Company to reach out to a new target audience of DIY enthusiasts.

For example, in the field of automotive technology, Bosch originally focused on restoring technology to pre-war levels, while engineers worked around the clock to produce new, ground-breaking technologies. In 1951, the mechanical gasoline injection system for passenger automobiles was introduced into mass production for the first time. The introduction of the first semiconductors to be used in automobiles marked yet another watershed moment in the Company's history. New Divisions

Bosch founded the Packaging Technology branch in 1963 after acquiring a number of companies in the industry. It was decided to combine the pneumatics and hydraulics activities to establish the later Technological division, which was a forerunner to the current Drive and Control Technology division. The Company's board of directors was especially interested in expanding the Company's foreign operations, and in 1969 they laid the groundwork for a second facility in India, in the city of Nashik. Bosch's telecommunications activities were enlarged and consolidated in the 1980s under the leadership of Marcus Bierich, who stood as chairman of the board of administration from 1984 to 1993. This led to the establishment of a new company sector in the process. It was this merger that brought together the radio technology company, which was founded in 1954, the mobile phone business, ANT Nachrichtentechnik, which was purchased in 1982, and Telefonbau und Normalzeit Lehner & Co., all of which were essential components of the business.

At Bosch, the era between 1960 and 1989 is characterized by substantial product advancements, notably in the field of automotive technology. These product breakthroughs highlighted Bosch's dedication to low-emission, cost-effective, and safe automobiles at a time when public attention was beginning to turn to road safety and environmental protection. Bosch's "safe, clean, and inexpensive" campaign, which began in 1974, encapsulated the Company's devotion. Besides pioneering technologies such as the D-Jetronic digital petroleum injection system (1967), the ABS antilock braking system (1978), the EDC digital diesel control (1986), and the Blaupunkt TravelPilot navigation system (1993), the Company also introduced a slew of other game-changing innovations (1989).
