Formerly known as Mohammedan College of Calcutta, Aliah University in Kolkata is often referred to as Madrasah-i-Aliah or Calcutta Madrasah. The University offers U.G., P.G., and Ph.D. programs, including B.A., MA, B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech, etc., that provide education in arts, science, and technology. All courses require entrance exams, which the institution itself administers. Applicants can also submit WBJEE or GATE exam results for B.Tech. or M.Tech. Admission. Admission to Aliah University

Admissions at Aliah University are primarily entrance-based. For course admissions for most programs, the University administers its Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) test. Most major courses, including B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc, and M.Sc, are entrance-based programs. The following entrance exam results are accepted for various courses:

• AUAT, WBJEE: B.Tech and B.Tech (Lateral)
• B.Ed: Admission Test + Merits
• MA, MCA, M.Sc, MJMC, LLM, M.Sc: AUAT BBA + MBA: AUAT M.Tech: GATE

What is AUAT?

Aliah University administers the online entrance exam known as the AUAT (Aliah University Admission Test). It determines who gets into different undergraduate, graduate, and five-year integrated programs. Before registering for the exam, candidates are urged to review the AUAT Eligibility Criteria. Candidates can only access the AUAT Application Form online.

The cell regularly works to place students by coordinating with various businesses and organizations. A certain proportion of pupils were already successfully placed in the industry. Aliah University Fee and Eligibility

M.Tech. & M.C.A. Admission at Aliah University in 2022

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in B.E. or B. Tech. in the appropriate field from an AICTE-approved institution with a minimum G.P.A. of 6.5. Candidates who have completed or appeared in the seventh semester with a G.P.A. of 6.5 (through the sixth semester) may also apply.

MA, M.Sc., L.L.M., and MJMC PG Admissions at Aliah University

For M.A.s, M.A./M.Sc. in Geography and M.A./M.Sc. in MJMC, L.L.M.s, M.A.s. in Urdu, M.M./M.A.s. in Theology and M.Sc. in Statistics & Informatics, or 2-year M.Sc. in Mathematics:

• Candidates who have completed a three-year degree program and received the minimum needed marks in the relevant honors or major topic from an accredited university may apply.
• Candidates who have completed Part I and Part II exams, or an equivalent grade when combined, in their respective Honors or Major subjects from any recognized University are also eligible to take the AUAT; however, their admission will be revoked if they do not receive an overall score of 40% on Part III/Final Examination For L.L.M.

For L.L.M.

To be eligible to apply for an L.L.M., a candidate must have completed a 3-year L.L.B. program or an integrated 5-year L.L.B. program with at least a 45% overall grade point average. All courses will be chosen based on the results of the entrance exam administered by Alia University as part of AUAT.
