Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (B.F.U.H.S.) is a public university with its main campus in Faridkot, Punjab. It was founded following a law enacted by the state's legislature in July 1998. The American Heart Association's international training center is now at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. Numerous U.G., P.G., Diploma, P.G. Diploma, Certificate, M.Ch. And Ph.D. programs are available at B.F.U.H.S. Faridkot. The B.F.U.H.S. will administer entrance exams for some courses, while scores from external entrance exams will be considered for most of them.

Admission to U.G. and Diploma Programs at Baba Farid University

Admissions to U.G. and Diploma programs are based on a candidate's performance on the necessary Entrance Exam and in the 10+2 or equivalent (in the applicable subject). In contrast, admittance to diploma programs is determined on merit. An applicant for a B.Sc. program must have completed the 10+2 program with the issues of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English on their own, as well as 40% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined.

• Minimum 45% on the Pharmacy Diploma (for B.Pharm (Lateral).
• Valid Score for the NEET UG Entrance Exam (for M.B.B.S. and BDS.).
• Examining P.M.E.T. Entrance - Valid Score (for B.Sc., B.P.T., BAMS, B.H.M.S., and B.M.L.T.).

The allotment of seats through counseling by the relevant counseling agencies is the basis for final selections to U.G. programs. While admissions to diploma courses and B.Pharm. (Lateral) are based on merit.

P.G. & P.G. Diploma Admission at Baba Farid University

Admissions to graduate and post-graduate diploma programs are based on a candidate's performance on their bachelor's degree examination or a comparable test in a related field, and entrance testing is necessary.

• Minimum 50% in the relevant stream of a bachelor's degree program.
• Valid Score for the NEET PG Entrance Exam (for M.D. and M.S.).
• Correct Score for the NEET MDS Entrance Exam (for M.D.S.).
• G.E.T. Entrance Exam - Acceptable Mark (for M.Sc., M.P.T., and P.G. Diploma).

The allocation of seats through counseling undertaken by the relevant counseling authority determines the final selection of the programs. While M.Pharm. admissions are determined by merit.

Admission to M.Ch. and Ph.D. programmes at Baba Farid University

Candidates holding a Master's Degree or M.Phil. in a relevant subject and a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 55% are eligible for a three-year full-time M.Ch. and Ph.D. programmes at BFUHS. The criteria used for final applicant selection are as follows:

• Valid Score for P.H.D.E.T. Entrance Exam (for Ph.D.)
• Good Score for Entrance Exam and Personal Interview (for M.Ch.).
• Exams for the C.S.I.R. (J.R.F.) and U.G.C. (N.E.T.) (for Ph.D.).
• Holders of S.L.E.T., GATE, and Teacher Fellowship (for Ph.D.).
• Direct Fellowship Award from DST (INSPIRE), I.C.M.R., or another National Agency (Ph.D.).
• Any other equivalent test.

Baba Farid College has set up a training and placement department to offer regular training sessions in soft skills, computer skills, and personality development. This department's primary goal is to improve Baba Farid College students' employability and skill development to meet employer expectations. The general growth of the students is the main focus. The department is making an effort to offer pieces of training on various topics.

All students undergo a student evaluation to determine what they have learned and what areas need the most improvement to meet industry demand in addition to receiving their respective degrees.

Admission to Baba Farid University

• The applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary School examination from a recognized board.
• To qualify for the program, applicants must receive at least a 50% on their Higher Secondary School exams.

Travel and Tourism Management Bachelor's Degree

• The candidate should have passed a recognized board's Higher Secondary School examination.
• The candidate must receive 50% to apply for the program.
• Any discipline-related student may enroll in the program.

• The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• The candidate must receive 50% to apply for the program.

Agriculture Science Diploma

• Students must have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board to be eligible for the program.

General Requirements for Undergraduate Admissions

• The student should have passed the 12th-grade exam from an accredited board.
• Candidates must receive a minimum of 50% to be considered for admission to Baba Farid College in 2022.
