CampusThe university campus covers 25 acres of area and includes 100 acres of Dharmaram College Campus situated in the Central Part of Bangalore city. The city is located near residential areas, such as Koramangala, a large neighbourhood; Jayanagar, one of the massive residential neighbourhoods; and BTM Layout, a commercial and residential area. Christ, in 2009, inaugurated its Kengeri Campus, which spans over 75 acres. The campus is on the Bangalore-Mysore Highway and houses the P.U. Residential College, the School of Business and Management, which gives BBA and MBA courses, the School of Engineering and Technology, and the school of Architecture started operating in 2017. They also have a campus on Bannerghatta Road Campus. Christ is planning to establish a new campus in Yashwanthpur. It will become functional in August 2022. The campus has been designed to be 10 stories tall and covers a lot of space. Its campus is also in Pune and Lavasa, founded in 2007, and Delhi, which came in 2013. They have turned their campuses into Zero Waste campuses and are fully equipped with machines that could wet waste and used paper. Administration and Organisational Distribution of the Christ UniversityThe Syro Malabar Major Archiepiscopal Church indirectly manages Christ University. The Vice-Chancellor manages the day-to-day administrative work and takes all the major decisions. Dr Fr Abraham Vettiyankal Mani currently holds the post of Vice-Chancellor. Mani has a doctorate from Bangalore University and holds a considerable amount of expertise in Computer science. However, it is usually seen that the office of the Vice-Chancellor is held by the priest from the church community, but the person has all the necessary qualifications to become the Vice-Chancellor, which the UGC mandates. Vice-Chancellor has wide powers and huge responsibilities, so several men work under him to carry out these immense responsibilities.
