Plot Of The Story

As they suspect him of cheating. During these encounters of Jamal with the police, he goes into a flashback of his life and starts to remember his past and after escaping from the police officer Jamal rejoins the show and attempts the final question about 'the name of the third Musketeer'. He uses the phone as a friend lifeline to call the only number he remembered of his friend Latika.

Still, Latika is not able to help Jamal. Then Jamal decides to answer with luck and wins the huge amount of 20 million and the movie ends up with the oscar-winning song "Jai Ho".

Suddenly a dreadful situation occurs when one of the visitors, Nathuram Godse, shoots the gun pointing towards the chest of Mahatma Gandhi and he dies by saying the last word 'Hey Ram'. Then, the scene of the Gandhiji funeral is shown with a huge crowd attending it.

After it, the story goes into the flashback showing different parts of Gandhiji's life, like getting thrown from a train in South Africa due to his color complexion.
