How to download Instagram Videos

Instagram has introduced various features in recent years, from Instagram stories to short videos, and recently added the new Instagram TV (IGTV) option for watching your favorite entertainment. Instagram is added in a list of world topmost social networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and WhatsApp App. Instagram allows us to connect with millions of peoples and celebrities by sharing photos and videos. It already introduced a photo and video saving feature as YouTube enables us to save videos.

Instagram reports millions of videos uploaded by creators from over the world. These videos contain almost everything that users needed from professionals to particular subjects. One of the primary reasons why you may want to download Instagram Videos is to ensure you save copies of your most preferred videos. There are two significant ways to download Instagram videos.

Method 1

On Android

Open Instagram:

Open your mobile device and tap the Instagram app from your application page. It is a multicolor (Pink, Purple, and Orange) structure with a white camera inside.

If you are not already logged into your account, you need to enter your login credentials correctly, or you can also directly log into your account via Facebook.

If you forget your password, you need to tap on the reset password icon located just below the password tab.

Find the Video you want to download:

From the Instagram dashboard, you need to find the video you want to download. You can download any Instagram videos as long as it is not restricted, it means when it is publicly shared.

Tap Kebab Menu:

Once you find the video you want to download, you need to tap the "kebab menu" (shown by three dots) located at the top right corner of the video. If you tap on the kebab menu, you will find a list of options.

Tap Copy Link:

From the list of options, you need to tap on a "Link" to the video. If you tap on the link, a link to the video is copied to your Instagram clipboard.

If you don't find this option, it means the videos associated with the specific account are marked as Private, and you won't be able to download any video from that account.

Open a browser:

Once you copy the link, you need to open your preferred browser (Firefox, Chrome, Opera) you wish.

Once you open the browser, go to the address bar located at the top of the window and type www.regrammer.com and press the "Enter" button. You will be redirected to a Regrammer, a free website page that enables you to download videos from the Instagram platform.

Paste the Link:

The link you have copied from the Instagram page is required to "Paste" in the given box.

Tap Preview:

Once you paste the link in the given box, you need to tap on the "Preview" tab (Blue button) located at the bottom of the page. Doing so will show you a video preview.

Tap Download:

After a video preview, you need to tap the "Download" tab. It downloads the videos to your device Downloads folder.

Method 2

On Windows

Open Instagram:

Type https://www.instagram.com in the address bar located at the top of your preferred web browser and press the "Enter" key to proceed. Doing so will be navigated to the Instagram homepage.

If you are not already logged into your Instagram account, you need to enter your email address or phone number or user name, followed by the password field. Once you enter the correct login credentials, click the "Log In" tab (Shown by blue color) located just below the password tab to sign in.

Search for the user who posted the video:

From the Instagram homepage, you need to search for the user who posted the video you want to download.

To do this procedure, you need to enter the person's username into the search bar at the top of the window. Once you enter the user name and press enter, you will see various search results where you have to select the right user name.

Click the video:

Here, you need to click the video you want to download. You will see the contents of the post will appear.

Click Meatballs Menu:

After now, you need to click "Meatballs Menu" located at the bottom right corner of the post. Once you click on the Meatballs menu, a list of options will appear.

Click Copy Link:

From the list of options, you need to click "Copy Link." Once you click the copy link, the video's link is copied to your clipboard.

If you don't find this option, it means the user account is marked as a Private account, and you can't download any video.

Once you copied the link on the clipboard, you need to press Ctrl+T. Doing so will open a new web browser.

Enter the Address:

Open your preferred web browser, go to the URL box located at the top of the page, and type www.regrammer.com and press the Enter button. You will be redirected to a Regrammer, a free website page that enables you to download videos from the Instagram platform.

Paste the Link:

After now, the link you have copied from the Instagram page is needed to "Paste" in the given box.

Tap Preview:

If you paste the link in the given box, you need to tap on the "Preview" tab (Blue button) Placed at the bottom of the page. Doing so will show you a video for a preview.
