The stunning 13th-century mud-brick Fortress of Shali is located in the center of the Siwa region. The once-protective fortification, built of kershef (a combination of clay and salt rock), is now in ruins. The stronghold was once a four- to five-story structure to protect the area against outside assaults. Today, many people visit the Fortress of Shali to take in the breathtaking sceneries of the Nile river. 56. Philae Island:
The famous temple island Philae Island is located on the tranquil Nile River. Several ancient Egyptian temples and shrines may be found at this important archaeological site, which is situated between the Aswan High Dam and the old Aswan Dam. Due to its significance as a hub for selling ivory, it is also known by the Greek name "Elephantine." In this little landmass, the ancient Egyptians built the spectacular and well-known Philae island temple complex devoted to the Egyptian goddess Isis. This location has earned a significant place among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The complete structure is thought to have developed as early as 600 BC. 57. Mahmya Island:

58. Sannur Valley Cave:
The Sannur Valley Cave, located about two hours outside Cairo, is renowned for its fantastic stalactite and stalagmite geological formations. There is also a tonne of quarries, which are older than ancient Egypt. The cave here covers an area of around 700 meters, is 15 meters wide, and is 15 meters deep. The Eocene limestone allowed groundwater to percolate through it, creating the cave.
