Way To Reach Kolhapur

By Air

Kolhapur is 250 kilometres away from Lohegaon Airport, which is reachable by buses and taxis that are accessible nearby. It takes around 4 hours and 15 minutes to drive to Kolhapur. The Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport in Mumbai is approximately 380 KM from Kolhapur, and the drive takes six and a half hours.

Kolhapur is also constructing a new, smaller airport, but regular flights have not yet started.

By train

Miraj junction, placed at the station's endpoint and 50 kilometres from Kolhapur, is nearby. Trains from Kolhapur run to Mumbai, Delhi, and Nagpur on the north side. Trains to Solapur and Hyderabad are available on the east side, and Train connections to Tirupati and Banglore are in the south.

By Road

Kolhapur has an active bus station. The primary bus service provided by MSRTC (Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation) runs frequently and regularly from Kolhapur to Mumbai and Pune in the north. Solapur has connection toward East Sangali. Banglore connectivity is present in South Belgaum, and there is connectivity between Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg in the west.
