Chingalpattu (formerly known as Chinglepet) is a town in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is the administrative headquarters of the district of Chennai. The town is 56 km from the state capital, Chennai, on the National Highway 45. The town is adjacent to an industrial and IT cluster.

The area is approximately 3.2 hectares in size.
