Early Life and Education

Aditi Tyagi was born on 3rd June 1994, in Jaipur, Rajasthan. She is the youngest of three; her two elder siblings, Priyanka and Aditya Tyagi, are alumni of Delhi University. Aditi was an introverted child who preferred to spend her time reading and listening to music. Having seen her interest in media studies, her parents, Shanti and Rajeev Tyagi, supported her in pursuing a career in journalism. She completed her schooling at Army Public School, New Delhi, and pursued her Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication from Lady Sri Ram College for Women, Delhi. She also has a post-graduation degree in Advertising and Media Studies.


Aditi's career started with internships in various news channels and publications. After graduating, she joined the media industry in 2013 as a news correspondent at NDTV India. While studying journalism at Delhi University, Aditi received several awards for her anchoring work. These awards provided her confidence and trust, and she was immediately hired as an anchor for NDTV.

Aditi was an anchor for several shows on NDTV India like 'One India, One Voice' and 'The National Agenda.' She also covered important events for the channel, such as the Commonwealth Games 2014 in Glasgow and interviews of eminent personalities such as the President of India, the Prime Minister, and the Chief Minister of Delhi.

In 2016, Aditi was appointed the head of the anchoring team at NDTV India. She became popular for her wit and humor, which she often mentioned in her interviews. She was also instrumental in introducing various initiatives, such as 'NDTV For You,' aimed at helping India in various socio-economic aspects.

In the post of Senior Correspondent, She was responsible for preparing and delivering daily, weekly, monthly, and urgent news segments, reports, analysts, and special news bulletins. She also hosted the monthly prime-time show, "ZeeYoung," highlighting the best technology, lifestyle, and other topics.

She then moved to PTC News, where she handled the post of Editor and Anchor. Apart from hosting the daily evening news bulletin and other prime-time shows, Aditi was also responsible for editing segments and packages for the evening bulletin.

Aditi joined India News in 2013 as a Senior Correspondent and News Anchor. She handled the News Editor and Anchor posts, preparing and reporting daily, weekly, and monthly news on political, investigative, and special news stories. She also hosted and anchored several shows and interviews, including India News Hour, Prime Minister's Weekly, Country's Voice, and more.

2016 she joined CNN News 18 India as a News Anchor and Reporter. She hosts and anchors the daily prime news bulletin and the weekly current affairs program. Her primary responsibilities involve preparing and delivering news and reports on current and important topics. She is known for her concise and intelligent reporting, which adds value to the program.

Notable Projects

Aditi has done some commendable work during her tenure at NDTV India. In 2018, she successfully launched a campaign to create awareness about the importance of menstrual hygiene among girls in rural areas. She has also interviewed various federal ministers and state Chief Ministers.

Additionally, Aditi recently launched a project in collaboration with UNICEF that aimed at providing education and healthcare facilities to underprivileged children living in unorganized settlements in India. She also hosted a show, 'Voice of Women,' which worked towards positively impacting society by discussing and highlighting pertinent social issues.
