Having seen her interest in media studies, her parents, Shanti and Rajeev Tyagi, supported her in pursuing a career in journalism. She completed her schooling at Army Public School, New Delhi, and pursued her Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication from Lady Sri Ram College for Women, Delhi. She also has a post-graduation degree in Advertising and Media Studies.

Career
