On December 20, 1984, Dheeraj Dhoopar was born in New Delhi. He is one of Sushil Dhoopar's three sons. His sister and two older brothers make up his family. Since he was little, he has enjoyed dancing and acting. Additionally, he excelled in sports while in school. He earned a diploma in fashion design while attending Delhi University for his undergraduate studies.

Dheeraj Dhoopar debuted as an actor in the 2009 television series Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg as Ansh. After his initial achievement in TV shows, he made appearances in several other shows, including Behenein, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Sasural Simar Ka, Sohaagi Sindoor, and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Aside from that, he had a cameo in the 2013 TV show Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. Dheeraj recently shared the screen with actress Shekhar Khanijo in the music video for Kafan.

Career

With over a hundred commercials for brands like Maruti Suzuki, Parker, Dabur Honey, Samsung Galaxy, and Videocon Mobile, Dhoopar launched his modeling career. Before deciding to pursue an acting career, Dhoopar finished an advanced course in fashion design and worked as a member of an airline cabin crew.

In Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg, Dhoopar made his television debut as Ansh. In addition, he played the parts of Shikhar in Zindagi Kahe - Smile Please, Sushant in Mrs. Tendulkar, and Bhavesh Patel in Behenein on Star Plus. He also appeared in a cameo as Amar in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge on Sony TV.

He co-starred with Dipika Kakar in the Colors TV series Sasural Simar Ka from 2013 to 2017. He played Prem Bhardwaj. He also hosted Sa Re Ga Ma Pa's grand finale.
