Ankita Lokhande

Ankita Lokhande Jain was born on 19th December 1984 in Indore, India, into a Marathi family. Her parents, Shashikant Phadnis, is a banker and Vandana Phadnis is a teacher. She came to Mumbai in 2005 to pursue her acting career, which took off after she graduated from the university. She made her television debut in Balaji Telefilms' daily show that won an award; Pavitra Rishta aired on Zee TV. Since then, she has been in a variety of different television programs. Later she decided to leave television in 2018 to seek a career in movies.

Her feature film debut was as Jhalkaribai in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, which was released on 25^th January 2019. Later, she appeared in Ahmed Khan's action film Baaghi 3, which was released in the year 2020 and was directed by Ahmed Khan.

Early Life

Ankita completed her schooling and college in Indore. Ankita's educational qualification is graduation. Ankita has loved acting since childhood, so she participated in various dramas in her college. Due to this reason, she moved from Indore to Mumbai in 2005. From here, she started her career as an actress. However, apart from acting, Ankita has also been a badminton player at one time.

Ankita began her TV career in the year 2006 with the talent hunt reality show Idea Zee Cinestar. After this, Ankita played an excellent lead role in Ekta Kapoor's show Pavitra Rishta. She became extremely popular with this show and came to be known as Archana by everyone. In the year 2011, Ankita appeared in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 4. In the same year, Ankita was also seen doing standup comedy with Kapil Sharma in the reality show Comedy Circus. Ankita Lokhande may have left the TV show, but Ankita did not get any movie even after working hard for many years, but she did not stop working hard. Then in the year 2018, she got a chance to play a big role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's big-budget film 'Padmavat' in a supporting role. But Ankita was not ready for this, due to which she refused it. After this, in the same year, she was chosen for the role of Jhalkari Bai in the film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.

In this film, Kangana Ranaut appeared as the main character Lakshmi Bai. This film was released in December 2019. People liked her performance in the role of Jhalkari Bai. The film was also very popular at the international level. After this, Ankita was seen in the film 'Baaghi 3'. This film was directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, in which the lead actors were Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh. In this way, she has had a career in television and Bollywood so far. Ankita's fans are speculating that Ankita may do a lot of films in the coming few years.

Personal Life

Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput were together for a long time, but then suddenly both broke up in the year 2016. After her breakup with Sushant, she was completely broken. Vicky Jain took care of her as a friend every time. Many blamed Ankita and people passed lewd comments on her. After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput in the year 2020, fingers were pointed at her, but Vicky always stood behind her and supported her every time. Even in the Sushant case, when people were trolling Ankita, Vicky gave a befitting reply to the people who were trolling Ankita. Recently in December 2021, the actress got married to Vicky Jain, who is a businessman by profession.
