Kangana Ranaut is an Indian actress and filmmaker who is best known for her Hindi cinema roles. She is among the highly-paid actresses in India. She has appeared five times on India's Forbes Celebrity list. She is known for her forthrightness in publicly expressing her opinions on a number of themes, including film, feminism, gender bias, and favoritism in Bollywood.

Personal Life:

Kangana Ranaut was born on March 23, 1987, in Bhambla, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Her mother, Asha Ranaut, is a teacher, while her father, Amardeep Ranaut, is an accomplished businessman. Rangoli is her older sister, while Akshat is her younger brother. Sarju Singh, his grandfather, was a member of the Legislative Assembly and an Indian Administrative Service Manager. She moved to Delhi at the age of 16 in order to further her profession, where she briefly worked as a model.


The actress made her feature film debut with the 2006 film Gangster, for which she received the Filmfare Award for Best Female Actress.
