After she resigned from Congress, she became a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party and fought the 2014 Lok Sabha Election. BJP has put up from Rajampet Seat, and she lost. Later, she was given an organizational role in the BJP. BJP made Mahila Morcha Prabhari. She continues to share a warm relationship with the central leadership. BJP appointed him the State President of the Andhra Pradesh BJP State Unit. Her supporters fondly call her the Sushsma Swaraj of the south for her charismatic oratory skills and sharp articulation.

Conclusion

Daggubati Purandeswari is an astute politician, charismatic orator, and former parliamentarian. She comes from a very influential family and has won Lok Sabha seats several times. She had also occupied a ministerial position in the Central Government. She had associated herself with the Indian National Congress for a long due to her political stand on the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh; she quit the party and joined the Bhartiya Janta Party.

Bhartiya Janta Party is the current ruling party, and the party presented its candidate in the 2014 Lok Sabha Election. However, political winds were blowing in some other direction in Andhra Pradesh because her political party swept the 2014 Lok Sabha Election.

BJP has no solid hold in the Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh is presently dominated by mainly two parties, namely the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and YSRCP. Indian National Congress had a solid presence in the Andhra Pradesh. But their grip from the Andhra Pradesh politics has declined after the bifurcation. So, the BJP hopes to make its inroads in the Andhra Pradesh political. BJP has made Daggubati Andhra Pradesh BJP State President. She has been mandated to make BJP a formidable political force in Andhra Pradesh who could take on the regional satraps.
