On July 29, 1959, Sanjay Balraj Dutt was born in Mumbai, India. He is an Indian actor, producer, director, comedian, television host, and television personality.

Although Dutt has had great success as the main actor in various genres ranging from comedy to romance, his plays of cops and gangsters have brought him praise. Initially, Sanjay Dutt's full name also included his father's name, and so he was named Sanjay Balram Dutt, but later, he removed his father's name from his name and started being called Sanjay Dutt, and now everyone knows him with the same name.

Coming to his mother, her name is Nargis Dutt. She was also a legendary actress and died from severe diseases long time ago. Sanjay Dutt, the eldest son of the Dutt family, attended The Lawrence School in Sanawar, near Kasauli, for his education. Priya and Namrata, his younger sisters, are his other siblings.

Sanjay was eager to see Richa Sharma after their first encounter, so he looked up her phone number and phoned to meet her. Sanjay initially met Riya Pillai at the office of lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani. Sanjay was on bail during the 1993 Mumbai explosions, and he frequently visited his lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani. Suddenly, he met with Riya Pillai, and both Sanjay and Riya Pillai were slain in their first meeting and developed a deep love. In 1979, Sanjay Dutt debuted as a child performer in Reshma and Shera when he was just 12 years old. Sanjay began his acting career in 1981 with the film Rocky directed by Sunil Dutt, his father. The parents were looking forward to the movie's release, but Nargis, Sanjay's mother, died of Cancer before the premiere. Although the film was a smashing blockbuster, Sanjay's mother's death shattered him. He was shocked by the news. He is claimed to have been addicted to drugs due to his mother's death.

On the other hand, Sanjay had become highlighted for his childish behavior. Sunil Dutt, his father, sent him to a de-addiction facility in the U.S.A. due to his drug addiction. His Bollywood reputation was also harmed as a result of this.

After a handful of films, Dutt's first significant hit film "Naam" came in 1986. After that, he appeared in several popular films throughout his career. He got arrested in April 1993, just three weeks before Khalnayak's release, for his connection to the 1993 Mumbai explosions. Following his release from prison, Dutt starred in several films, including Vaastav: The Reality, for which he earned his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor in 1999. Meanwhile, his movie Jodi No. 1 and Kaante were released in 2001. However, Rajkumar Hirani's Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. transformed Sanjay Dutt's image again in 2003. Following the success of this film, he starred in Parineeta and Zinda, which were some of his previous box office successes. In addition, his following film, Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006), got him a huge star. His performance in the 2012 film Agneepath was well-received. With the film Bhoomi, he made a return in 2017.

Sanjay was detained under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA) for unlawfully obtaining firearms such as the AK-47. He was subsequently jailed for his participation in the bombing. Continuous judicial procedures began as a result of this. Sanjay was going through a very challenging time. The Mumbai bombings trial was reopened in 1993, and Sanjay was re-arrested. He finished the current films at the time, but he could not take on any new projects. Sanjay was released from prison in February 2016 after serving 42 months under the Arms Act.   2. In a question and answer session, Sanjay Dutt said that he smoked his first cigarette while he was in ninth grade. After watching his father's buddies come home and smoke together, he decided to try it.
  3. Sanjay understood the importance of his family and life after suffering years in jail. He had become so accustomed to the harsh mattresses of jail that he spent over 15 days in his House sleeping on the floor when he came out of jail.
  4. According to allegations, Sanjay Dutt was reportedly publicly hit by director Subhash Ghai for improper behavior with Padmini Kolhapure. He even dismissed Sanjay's role and replaced him with Jackie Shroff for his movie Hero.
