Guru Randhawa Bio

Guru Randhawa

Guru Sharan Singh Randhawa is his true name. Guru was born on August 30, 1991, in Gurdaspur, Punjab. Since there was no cable TV in his hamlet when he was a boy, he spent his free time watching and listening to Doordarshan and the radio. He enjoyed watching television series like Shaktimaan and Shake Luck Boom Boom while he was in third grade.

Guru has always been quite reserved, but he has never been so when singing. Guru notes that because his town was so close to Pakistan, Pakistani stations also used to be picked up on his radio, which is how he first began to comprehend the style of Punjabi music. However, at the time, he had no idea how he would be able to access TV or radio.

The desire to finish his schooling came before the desire to become a singer. Since Babbu Mann, Gurdas Maan, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and Diljit Dosanjh were among his favorite singers as a youngster, Guru began singing from the third grade forward. By the seventh grade, he had begun to write a few of his songs.

He explained that most Punjabi singers quit their studies in the middle and enter the industry, which causes them not to understand the professional contract. As a result, he said, they cannot understand the professional contract, which is why I had to hire a guru to finish my studies. He received his education from Gurdaspur, and she wanted to move to Delhi for further study, but her family couldn't afford it at the time.

Controversy

In a Mumbai club late on Monday night, Guru Randhawa, cricketer Suresh Raina, and Hrithik Roshan's ex-wife Sussanne Khan were all detained for breaking the COVID-19 rules established by the government. All were eventually freed on bond, though. In a statement following the event, Guru Randhawa expressed regret for his actions and said the incident was accidental. Guru Randhawa remarked. I apologize sincerely for the unexpected event that occurred last night to those who had gone out to supper with their close friends before arriving back in Delhi the following morning. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the local government's decision to impose a nighttime curfew. However, it was in line with all the guidelines established at the time by government officials. He committed to following all safety precautions in the future while adhering to official regulations and norms. I have, up to this point, been a law-abiding person and will do so going forward as well.
