Nimrat Khaira

Nimrat Khaira is an Indian actress whose full name is Nimratpal Kaur Khaira. Nimrat Khaira is also a Punjabi singer and actress best recognized for her work in Punjabi films and music. She began singing in third grade and earned her bachelor's degree in biotechnology from HMV (Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya), also in Punjab. She belongs to a Sikh family, and her parents have only one child. D.AV. Centenary School in Batala, Punjab, is where she completed her education. Her father works for the Forest department, while her mother works for the government as a teacher.

Sushil Narang taught her classical music, and she was a competitor on the singing reality program 'Awaaz Punjab Di' while she was in the 12th grade; however, she was removed after being chosen among the top 20 candidates.

Career

She has been crowned the champion of the third season of The Voice of Punjab. After the release of her single "Ishq Kacheri," she became well-known. She also performed at the Saras Mela held in Bathinda. She hosted the Radio Mirchi Music Awards for the third time.

She started singing with a duet, "Rab Karke," with Nishawn Bhullar, published by Punj-aab Records on September 24, 2015. Although the song was well-received, her popularity rose with the two subsequent songs, "Ishq Kacheri" and "SP De Rank Wargi," both released in 2016.

Film Career

She made her film debut in 2017 with Lahoriye, where she played Harleen Kaur, Kikkar's (Amrinder Gill) sister. The crowd praised her performance in this picture. In addition, she was nominated for Best Debut Performance, and Best Supporting Actress at many awards shows.

"Afsar", her second film, was released on October 5, 2018. Nimrat Khaira makes her debut as a lead actress in this film. Nimrat Khaira had previously worked with Tarsem Jassar in a film. Harman, a teacher in a government school, was her character. Amberdeep Singh wrote and directed her film Jodi, which was set to be released in 2020. She appears alongside Diljit Dosanjh in the flick. After Lahoriye, this is her second collaboration with Singh and Rhythm Boyz Entertainment (2017). She is also acting with Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta in Amberdeep Singh's Saunkan Saunkne, released in 2022.

The film is built on the idea that Kanungo is of a higher rank than Patwari, but Patwari receives more respect than Kanungo. Amrinder Gill and Karaj Gill's Rhythm Boyz Entertainment has teamed up with Dalmora Films and Diljit Dosanjh's Dosanjhwala Productions to produce the film. Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira have featured in the film.

Dosanjh began working on the film's soundtrack in August 2019, and filming began on October 5, 2019. The movie was supposed to be out on June 26, 2020; however, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 epidemic. The movie was set to be released on June 24, 2021. But now, the movie will most likely be released on June 24, 2022.
