Time Period Definition

A period of time during which something occurs or is expected to occur. The time required for one complete oscillation in the density of the medium is referred to as the wave's Time Period. It can also refer to the time two successive compressions or rarefactions take takes for two successive compressions or rarefactions to cross a given point. The time period refers to when it takes the pendulum to complete one oscillation. Time is measured in seconds.

Time Period Definition

A thing's time period is the time expected to complete one swaying. Angular frequency is characterized as the angular dislodging of any wave constituent per unit of time. The recipe for time is: - T = 1/f, where T is the period, and f is the recurrence. = c/f, where c is the wave speed (m/s), and f is the frequency of occurrence (Hz). The unit hertz (Hz) stands for cycles per second. The state beneath is followed by sound waves and electromagnetic waves. For example, if a wave with a time period of 2 seconds recurs. i.e., 1/2 = 0.5 Hz.
